Art for Arts Sake 25/26


Group Description :
This is a self help art group. It is intended for people who have a little experience of art and who would like to renew or develop their interest. We encourage group members to explore their specific interest areas, and members can share their ideas amongst the group members. Also available are some art technique videos. The most popular mediums are watercolour and acrylic, but other mediums can be used. Members of the Group in 24/25 who regularly attended will be given priority. It is expected that following Registration there will be at least 7 places for further new joiners in September.

a) The entrance has no step up to it, it is Level Access. 

b) There is no ramp.

c) The entrance door is not automatic opening.

There is no alternative accessible entrance.

The internal doors are not easy to open.

b) There is not sufficient space adjacent to the toilet for a wheelchair user to slide across. 

c) There are no grab rails.

d) The washbasins etc. are not at a suitable height. 

e) There is no alarm cord that reaches the floor.

b) The venue has car parking or there is parking within 50m (164ft).

There is one disabled space, approx. 5m(16ft) to the entrance.

There is sufficient room in a disabled parking space to open a door widely for a wheelchair.

b) The room is not well lit. 

c) There are chairs with arms.
